Lelani started CommGap in 2000. CommGap is a translation and interpretation company that works with more than 200 languages. Along with CommGap, Lelani owns Global 1 Voice, LLC which offers media and broadcasting consulting. Lelani and her husband, Dain, own Leading Edge, Inc. and Capra Group, LLC.

Lelani Craig has more than 25 years of experience in the language industry, including 22 years as an entrepreneur and manager. She is an accomplished conference interpreter as well as a certified court interpreter. Lelani has extensive knowledge and experience in language services requirements, compliance, and advocacy.

Lelani currently serves as Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Language Companies. She is also one of the organizers of the Silicon Slopes Localization group, a member of the Utah Women Tech Council, and recently organized the Utah Chapter of Women in Localization. Lelani is on the State of Utah Advisory Committee for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. In addition, she serves on the Advisory Boards for The Global Chamber and Lango. Lelani serves as a mentor and speaker for university entrepreneurial programs and frequently speaks for leadership and mentoring groups. In addition, she is a member of the Weber State University Foreign Languages Dept. Industry Advisory Board.
 
Lelani received awards from “Count Me In” and American Express in 2004. In 2013, Lelani was selected by Goldman Sachs to participate in their 10,000 Small Businesses Program. In 2014, she was chosen by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s 30 Businesswomen to Watch. In 2017, she was awarded Hispanic Businesswoman of the Year by the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. That same year, Lelani graduated from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative Program. 
 
Lelani enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, and finding adventures everywhere she goes.
